The Nottingham Airport can be found in Tollerton, Nottinghamshire, England and offers two runways which serve general aviation. The longer of the runways is fully equipped with lights for those who must fly at night. The airport was used during World War II for the Polish Training School but returned to civilian use after the war ended. In December of 2006 the airport was purchased by Nottingham City Airport plc and they have promised many improvements along with adding a third runway, thus holidays from Nottingham was born.
