Holidays from Teeside Airport is also known as Durham Tees Valley Airport. It is one of the smaller airports in England and is located about 6 miles east of Darlington. It offers links to several domestic and European destinations.
In 2006 the airport councils approved plans for the expansion of the airport. First will be to extend and refurbish the terminal. They will improve baggage handling and check-in facilities, build lounges, and offer space for retail and restaurant facilities. They also want to improve the parking facilities. On the second phase of expansion they want to have a business park which also contains a 100 bed hotel with a public house and a restaurant.

Holidays from Teeside are limited at present but you can get some great flights to London Heathrow, Aberdeen, or Dublin. This will allow you a few days to enjoy some different scenery without having to take a long and extended flight. If you want you will also be able to take a charter flight into other areas of Europe from the Teeside Airport.
